My journey into bereavement and construction support services commenced unexpectedly, grounded in personal experiences with my adopted family. The sudden and tragic loss of my best friend, who was more like my sister, left a void that was difficult to fill. She left no will, and her bereaved parents, unsure of how to navigate the complex aftermath, turned to me for support. My role extended beyond being a confidant and shoulder to lean on during her life, transforming into an anchor during the tumultuous period following her unexpected departure. This experience, while profoundly challenging, also illuminated a path for me - a path that would lead me towards offering support and expertise to others navigating similar situations.

The pain of loss is a burden too heavy for many of us to bear, particularly when it brings with it a multitude of unresolved matters. It was during these trying times, amidst the chaos and sorrow, that I saw firsthand the immense turmoil my adopted mother was enduring. As we sifted through the personal belongings of my departed best friend, the weight of her grief was palpable. My adopted father, recognizing the unbearable strain she was under, requested that I step in and assist. The experience was an enlightening one, offering me invaluable insights into not only the nature of loss but also the power of resilience, perseverance, preservation, and support. It was a pivotal moment that shaped the path I would later choose, ultimately leading me into the bereavement and construction support services.

Some months later, I was faced with the crushing blow of losing my adopted mom. Once again, I found my adopted dad in a similar situation, in need of support and guidance during this heart-wrenching period. Without hesitation, I stepped forward to provide the same support and transition assistance that had been needed before. The lessons I learned from these experiences were plentiful and varied. Some of these lessons were positive, illuminating the resilience of the human spirit and the power of support. On the other hand, some were filled with harsh realities and the bitter taste of life's unforgiving lessons. Despite their variance, each lesson served a purpose. Observing the desperate need for bereavement services in moments of immense grief and loss reaffirmed my purpose. While recovering from the impact of these hard lessons, my determination to support families in need during their greatest times of grief only grew stronger.
